The Wayfarer collection, 1919-1920.

The collection consists of materials pertaining to the production of the passion play The Wayfarer from 1919-1920. Includes the playbook of director Lawrence H. Rich containing autographs of performers, a typed program, sheet music, and hand written notes on stage directions, sound effects, and lighting. A scrapbook contains photographs of Walter Hampden, Blanche Yurka, Helen Newitt, Theo Karle, and scenes of the pageant; clippings; a poster; programs; and brochures relating to The Wayfarer. The collection also includes a booklet of the musical score and photographs, probably from D.W. Griffin's unreleased film production of The Wayfarer.
